The app agrees with the 134 page, 2006 "Wilderness First Aid Field Guide" by the Emergency Care and Safety Institute, American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons, and Boy Scouts of America.... and the related class I just finished. I didnt find any conflicting protocols. But it only contains about a third of the topics and depth of info and no prevention advice as the pocket-sized book ($20 new, $2 used). Many pdfs can be found free online of similar books.
This app supplements, complements the free American Red Cross First Aid and SOAP report taking app.
Given this app will likely be available to the user far more than the book, the app is worth the price given its content (compared to other apps) and ease of use (compared to pdf files).
